   HNA's Definition of Homeopathy

Homeopathy is a system of natural medical therapeutics based on the “law of similars" (like cures like).  Each patient's body expresses its disorder by a  complex of symptoms; mental, emotional and physical.  These symptoms are used, as a totality, to choose a homeopathic preparation of a substance which has been found to evoke those same symptoms in a healthy human being under controlled research procedures. These non-suppressive, non-toxic ”remedies” can be used for acute and chronic problems of all kinds. This gentle and effective holistic healing system, founded 200 years ago by German physician, Samuel Hahnemann, is a leading form of complementary medicine today, used by many health professionals all around the world.   The practice of the art and science of homeopathy takes a major commitment to study and holds very rewarding results.  Scientific research has shown that homeopathy is effective in many disease states.
